Cashew Nut Milk

Another delicious nut milk which is very similar to the previous nut milks published. To tell the truth, you can’t go wrong with any of them as they are all so very tasty, especially when chilled.

Cashew Nut Milk

Ingredients
1 cup raw cashews soaked for about 4 hours
3 or 4 cups of filtered water, depending on how rich and thick you want the milk
3 tbsp agave nectar, maple syrup, raw honey, coconut sugar, 2 – 3 pitted dates OR a few drops of Stevia
1 tsp of natural vanilla extract
pinch sea salt
1 tbsp of coconut butter
1 tbsp of non GM lecithin if you want a richer, creamier milk.

Method
Place cashews, and 3 cups of water in TM bowl or high speed blender
Blend for 2 minutes on high speed until completely smooth and creamy.
Add the rest of the ingredients and mix until smooth

To add variety you could add some unsweetened cocoa powder for Chocolate milk, or fresh fruit, coconut and cinnamon etc

I love making cashew nut milk, but don’t add any add inns. I do that when I make my smoothies or desserts with it!
